Fans of the Youtube singing sensation and fans of the make up brand recently spent a couple of exciting hours at the Make Up For Ever (MUFE) store in Bonifacio High Street in a meet and greet session dedicated especially for Marie Digby.
Digby, who popularized acoustic covers of several hits including Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella’ gamely answered the crowd’s questions that revolved mostly around makeup.
What does Digby think about teenage girls obssessing on makeup?
“I think they should first work on their inside, their inner beauty…I think it’s okay to experiment but I would really encourage a young adult, teenagers to work on their confidence and self-worth. Because I think girls are not thinking about their health so I would try them to encourage them to try be a better person. Try to work on the inside and the outside will follow,” Digby said.

Digby related that when she was a teenager, she was shy and awkward and like most teenagers, she had breakouts. She also revealed how she disliked lunchtime because she had no one to eat lunch with. “I had breakouts and I was chubby,” Digby said.
But as she grew, she discovered music and eventually, herself.
Today, several young girls look up to her as a role model.
Digby’s music has inspired a lot of girls to dedicate themselves to their craft. Her success has proven that hardwork and perseverance are key ingredients to success.
