ALL GLORY AND HONOR BELONG TO GOD
<
LIVE A POSITIVE LIFE. INFLUENCE OTHERS.
(Song: Even in the Rain; Artist: Maurette Brown Clark)
Today I’m sharing a song that ‘spoke’ to me in one of my melancholic days. Yes, I do get sad occasionally, I am perfectly human after all. But I am careful not to dwell on my feeling, much less launch a pity party.
I realized that when I decided to get serious in my walk with God, things changed. Bigger challenges came.
But I held on to God.
I am holding on to God.
I once read that there is freedom in surrendering to the Almighty.
And so, today and everyday, I surrender my troubles to God. I believe He has a good plan for me just as He has a good plan for you.
“I, even I, am he who comforts you. Who are you that you fear mere mortals,
human beings who are but grass, that you forget the LORD your Maker,
who stretches out the heavens and who lays the foundations of the earth,
that you live in constant terror every day because of the wrath of the oppressor who is bent on destruction? For where is the wrath of the oppressor?”
Isaiah 51:12-13
New International Version (NIV)
