My weekend was marked with challenges. While my whole week was utterly filled with joy and blessings, Saturday and Sunday presented a mixture of excitement and a series of disappointing events. Yes, I experienced frustration but God’s army was quick to remind me that disappointments should not stay too long in our minds. My small group leader, Maan reminded me that I have to be strong so that I could continue inspiring others. Meanwhile, Sunday’s church service centered about being strong in the Lord. I realized that my source of frustration was that things turned out differently from what I imagined. But At night, I realized that God sees my heart and even though things sort of made a detour, at least God knows that I pursued the best for Him.   “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.” Ephesians 6:10 (NIV)
