LIVE A POSITIVE LIFE. INFLUENCE OTHERS.
The invitation said Revlon Professional Makeover Weekend.
Initially, I thought we would be enjoying a makeup session. Turned out, our tresses are in for an exciting treat in an otherwise ordinary Sunday afternoon.
Upon arriving at the Revlon office in Pasig city, our ‘before makeover’ pictures were taken. As I posed before the camera, I thought of the before and after pictures we usually see on TV shows that do a makeover of random people on the street. I silently hoped our pictures would not be posted on the Revlon website or anywhere else on the web. ^-^ Shows like that incite too much judgment from people. It makes everyone some sort of a judge as it somewhat ‘authorizes’ everyone to comment about everything, from the person’s hair down to his or her shoes.
After the camera clicked twice, Revlon’s charming PR Kathy Choy escorted me upstairs for the makeover. We were made to choose whether we’d like to have a scalp treatment and haircut, color and hair treatment, or color and highlights. Jay, a Revlon hair professional suggested a retouch of color on my hair. So off I went to the salon chair.

Revlon’s wide array of color for the hair
Cookie did the whole procedure as Jay ably supervised all the treatments that were being done on everyone. A total of 10 media peeps were having their hair pampered by Revlon. The procedure lasted for about an hour and a half. Another good thing that came out of it is that I was again able to watch a movie in my iPod Touch. ^:^

And we’re done. Thanks Jay for my Colorsilk 734 hair color that was enhanced by the 713 Nutri Color Crème. This is the ‘After makeover’ photo with Kathy Choy (Sorry, photo does not justify the beautiful brown color of my hair).
Yes, I have the guts to post the ‘after makeover’ photo. ^-^
